I was reading through a few profiles last night (can you tell this is starting to become a social experiment for me)? It seemed that OVERWHELMINGLY men mentioned "sex, sensuality or other romantic notions".
It leads me to think.. Do men really think that they aren't going to get sex at some point from a woman that they have a relationship with? Ok.. ok.. I know I'm going to get that whole thing from men who are divorced and weren't having relations with their now ex wives. Yes, that happens, no doubt. But there was something else going on in the relationship.
And even if you mention it guys, I mean put out there point blank, does it guarantee it? NO! It's not. Oh, it might start off that way, but....
Now to my thoughts about myself because self-reflection is key for me. Anyone who's read my blog at this point knows that I'm new on the dating scene, kinda, and was really involved in a segregated society. To that end, I've become far more aware of how men expect women to market their sensuality. Yes, I said market.
Anyone who knows me, is aware that I'm a very feminine, sensual woman. I'm in tuned to me and I revel in being a woman. I'm approached often.. not that I'm beautiful, but I've been told it's the way I hold a gaze, unknowing stroke objects and walk. I'm usually caught unaware. But online.. I come across as.... FRIGID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the _______??LOL
So to remedy that, I made a couple of changes on my profile. I wonder if sensuality will reign over intellect?
