OK, I've been on this website for a couple of months. I've had winks and emails from a variety of men. It's funny when I'm in my swimsuit I received many visits, however when I'm in normal clothes it does not happen as often. Thank you for those that expressed interest. I'm bewildered at the information that most of the guys on this site want. Be for real, you want a lady with a curvy shape, intelligent mind (although I did not see this on many profiles)sexy, sexy, sexy and always a preference when it came to race. Definitely physically fit.
Great choices, although from many of your pictures...you do not look the part of having a mate as perfect as you requested. Hence forth the reason for this site....
I think many singles have trouble finding someone because of the following: 1- you are not true to yourself 2- you are trying to fullfill a fantansy only to find out that person is nothing like you dreamed of... 3- you do not speak your mind of what you want and expect (women, we are bad about this) No one can read minds.. 4- being someone you are not to entice and pull in- only when reality hits and they see the "real" you, it's pretty much over. 5- too much information too soon, this can go both ways...
I'm sick of meeting men (I prefer 45-55) who throw on airs.. please be yourself, I'm going to be myself regardless... you see what you get. The good, the bag, the ugly. Ha Ha! Most men beat their chest, because that's what they do....
But if you are serious about friendship and a relationship, Be yourself .. because when the going get's tough the "real" you will eventually come out and boy.. sometimes it's scary!

For me, a woman with very specific preferences is a giant RED FLAG. It's about "quantities" vs. "qualities". When a person is young and immature, they tend to navigate life based on their peer group. When a young woman talks about a new guy to her friends she'll say, "He's this tall, he makes X amount of money, he has this eye color, drives this type of car, etc.". It's all data that you could plug into an EXCEL spreadsheet. (Dating sites are just giant databases.) However, as she gets older, and begins to look at the world through her OWN values, feelings, and experiences, then her priorities shift to "qualities". ie. He's funny, honest, adventurous, compassionate, etc. Qualities are things that have to be seen or experienced to be fully appreciated. The women on dating sites that have a WIDER range in terms of what they're looking for are generally well travelled, well educated, and have a broader world view over all. They intuitively understand that the CURSE in getting what you want is that by default, it only includes what you presently KNOW. To me, that's an important QUALITY regardless of their external package. If someone were to try to come up with a "type" for me based on physical appearance, they'd be hard pressed to find a pattern. Tall, short, slender, curvy, asian, caucasian, african-american, latina, blonde, brunette, redheads, nerdy, goth, party girl, lawyer, nurse,...all of these would have to be considered. My type is "woman". However, the QUALITIES, they posess are pretty consistent. This medium only provides a few pictures and some database entries, not nearly enough to get a true "feel" or "sense" of who someone is. While I can look at a picture of a woman here and acknowledge she is "attractive", I'd have to observe her moving through the world before I'd feel any real "attraction". (You know, the primal kind, that starts with nostrils flaring and eyes narrowing, then ends with biting, scratching, growling and hair pulling...)

Hear, hear! I concur! But you know.. men with assets THINK they can get whomever they please. Well.. it's for the most part true. We've all seen it. A GROSSLY overweight man with ZERO taste and, forgive me, a unibrow and he's sitting with a beautiful woman who's all over him. Why??? Oh yes, he's driving the Martin out front. LOL

Those profiles with NO PREFERENCE for an ideal match, in my opinion, is a RED flag, and responding is a waste of time! I have no problem with a guy who wants what he wants, and states that on his profile; that way I know immediately if his preferences and mine are a possile match. Guys, are you here to waste time, or, are you looking for a real love/friendship connection?
